well band-aids are wayyyy cheaper than a new bra (seeing as I am hoping the girls start shrinking) I rather invest in good waterproof band aids me thinks :) This is awesome advice! ty ty ty!

I do have one incision right under my bra line. I couldn't even think of wearing an underwire even today a week later. ( maybe with a pillow under it)

I had no problem with my bra irritating my incision....I even asked my surgeon why he put an incision where my bra goes.....He just laughed at me (I love my surgeon)...........I wear front closure bras and had absolutely NO problem!!

I Love this post!!  Its good to know I am not alone- I am a 42 J or K (depending on the brand) and only 5'1"  I have to order bras online.  My best supporting bra is my Enell sports bra, it has better support than my underwires (Although I have to say Panache has been an excellent source for me).  I totally understand about not wanting the girls on the loose when in public,  I had my gallbladder removed last year & did have incision along the bra line and I used the Enell sports bra without any discomfort.  My surgery is next week and thats what I plan on wearing.

Good luck

Actually that was a concern of mine as well. When I had my gall bladder removed my bra irritated the top incision. The incisions are a little lower for the band surgery so I had no problem with any irritation when I had WLS.

*BTW............when u lose weight...........u lose weight ALL over! The TaTa's are definitely NOT what they used to be!
