THAT is VERY FREQUENT - that type of flame war - (I have not clicked) - but it happens all the time.

Yup - online (not so much here, but in some other non-WLS communities), and I have a principal who keeps trying to bully me.

She gets very frustrated because it doesn't work (her boss, the superintendent, is on my side and she ISN'T my supervisor), and then she won't speak to me for a couple weeks (yeah, real adult, isn't she?).

Mainly, people who try to bully me are people who don't know me. I tend to not get mad, I just get even.

That's really adult of her!

Ugh, for the entire school year I've been bullied by my principal and one of her evil henchmen.  She actually scolded me for emailing someone at the school district with a question.  We're a school, for f's sake -- and I was scolded for asking a question?  Then she called a two-hour meeting with three other adults to disccuss it ... for crying out loud.

I'm not pouring any more emotion into it, because she's retiring this year.  Can't wait, will send flowers and confetti to the farewell party!

Well, I never said she was adult... merely that she was the principal! LOL!

Sometimes I think that too many people who are power hungry go into education administration... and then I meet a good one. 

Yeah, but it gets even worse than school administrators.  Mark Twain said,

“God made the Idiot for practice, and then He made the School Board"

True!!!

Both online and IRL. But mostly? Online. There's a filter that gets ripped away that we have when we primarily interact face to face. They are still out there in their "real" lives, though.
