CLICK Espresso Protein Drink Natural Mocha
I found CLICK Espresso Protein Drink years ago, before anyone knew about it. I'm directly responsible for creating addictions. You are welcome.
CLICK recently added two new options to their already kick-butt line: Mocha and Vanilla Espresso Protein, in a natural variety.
"What does that mean?"
All the CLICK products are naturally colored, flavored and gluten free. Original CLICK, in both Mocha and Vanilla Latte flavors, is sweetened with fructose and a very small amount of sucralose (e.g. Splenda).
The CLICK All Natural line is sweetened with a natural blend of sweeteners (stevia extract, lo han, fructose).
CLICK All-Natural "clicks" for those who are sensitive to Splenda.
They booted the 'oses. This is a good thing, and also means that CLICK can be sold in many more Natural Food Stores. Thumbs up for more availablity.
What's in it?

How does it taste?
Kick-ass.
For review purposes, I usually mix my protein AS DIRECTED, because if you cannot handle a protein product the way IT WAS INTENDED, your review is invalid. Says MM, TM, I blended a serving of CLICK Espresso Protein Drink Natural Mocha with about 14 ounces of cold water.
Then, because I am SO HIGH MAINTENANCE?
I put a straw in it. And sucked.
The texture of the shake is thin, no clump-age, lighter than a milk, however, I did not use ANY milk, so it was more to my coffee-texture, quite light. That said, I USED A FREAKIN' KITCHENAID BLENDER. Not a BlenderbottleTM I would have used a Blenderbottle TM but mine are all lost, gone, cracked, dead and missing. It's thinner than the previous regular CLICK? Perhaps?
Dear Click - Whatever you did to THIS version in the CLICKERY-Lab-Of-Protein, is better. It's got it's BOOTS ON, and it's ready to fight. Hoo hah.
Yes, ladies, it's strong. I love strong. I am a hard-core 'bucks drinker. (5-6 espresso shots over ice, with a touch of water, 1-2 ounces soy milk, sweetener... that's my drink.) If you are also a hard core drinker, of espresso, this should please you. I would venture to guess many would need to add a little more sweetness to it, perhaps more natural sweetener, Truvia would kick it up even a notch further.
Try this:
- 4-6 oz skim milk, unsweetened soy or almond milk (Dairy milk adds the most protein)
- 8 oz water
- 2 scoops CLICK
- Truvia
- Pour milk and water into blender. Add CLICK. Then, add ice. Pulse, then blend until smooth.
This is espresso, milk, protein, chocolate, vitamins, natural sweeteners and love kick butt. Thanks, CLICK! Now, to go take over the world clean my son's bedroom.
