look  we fell for it again!  this is for those of you who want wls.  educate yourself!  and dint do it 2 days be for your surgery. if you have a comp, their is plenty of info of both the pros and cons of each type of surgery.  people who have failed surgery are the minority. as with any surgery their is risk. rny disaster did NOT do their home work and that is their fault. i can not say it enough!

EDUCATE! EDUCATE! EDUCATE!

I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt for now and assume that you are a real person with real problems. That being said: If you expect to be believed and listened to here, you're going to have to be more forthcoming. In particular, you posted a thread begging for help in desperation the other day and then you disappeared, only to come back and post this.

If you want help for your problems and not just to stir **** it will be in your best interest to become more active here and connect with people who have a clue about the kinds of things you're going through.

What kind of treatment have you had for your intractible vomiting? When did you last have lab work done to determine your nutritional status? Have you discussed the possibility of a reversal of your surgery?

I don't want a PM. I want to interact with you here on the forum.

Surgeons often do NOT tell the whole truth.

The truth is everyone will have mal absoption syndrome of essential nutrients and all the vitamins and shakes will not replace them. We need all or most of our small intestine to have good health. There is no other way around it. If anyone tells you different they are lying.

All I can do is present what happened to me and scientific medical facts. Truth is credibility.

The death rate from WLS is 1 in 50 and not the 1 in 200 the WLS industry tells us. www.cbsnews.com/stories/2005/01/21/earlyshow/contributors/me lindamurphy/main668323.shtml

All I will do is post facts. If you disagree then prove me wrong with facts. Fair enough?

You're using a non-medical source. On top of that, that company has had stories wrong and had to apologize for getting them wrong.

If the stats you are quoting were correct, then post the medical studies from a known MEDICAL site not a NEWS organization with a reputation for getting things wrong. Don't use media sources for arguments like this.

Media sources are fine for information we need as long as the medical sources are also provided.

I don't think it's Yehuda. He has already posted on this thread calling this person out.

Isn't that what trolls do?

*remembering several incidents of this on R&R*
