I think it was covered by most other posters...But some people just LIKE to cause crap...(It must amuse them, how sad...) on one rottie board I belonged to, I knew one gal who just liked to start ****e with anyone they could..it was their only form of entertainment...
In real life, she was very overbearing, lonely and had a lot of pent up rage. I guess bullying people on message boards made her feel better... There are many on these boards with psychological problems, so that may contribute as well (they need to rage or feel they need to "bully" after years of being bullied for being fat).
Of course, threads like these just make the trolls more happy and active... The gal on the rottie board LOVED whenever people posted "Oh dear why troll threads"....
The best way to make them go away is to poke them with an ugly stick (back under teh bridge troll! and do NOT feed them under any cir****tance!!) that 99 % of the time makes them go away after awhile...After all...If NO one responds to them (positively OR negatively) then they aren't getting any "fun" feedback... Remember... some trolls LOVE people getting their knickers in a bunch and all flustered...It spurs them on.
Just ignore them.
Warmly,
Jackie
