Gallbladder surgery yesterday

Went well. This is how my bypass should have gone! Sore but okay. Still , probably because of the Vicodins. Hope the pain is gone by Monday, I have to go back to work.

I had gallbladder surgery on Saturday am and went back to work on Monday.....Just be prepared to walk real slow and not reach the floor, but you can do it! :-)  Plan on sleeping up until then though!

Hope your recovery goes better than mine. I've found that adjusting to life after a gallbladder removal more difficult than adjusting to my bypass. Really though....take it easy and dont be a hero. Good luck and here's to a speedy recovery.

Thanks everyone. Trying to sell my house (divorced and downsizing) and I had a showing today. Ugh. I had to drive my son and myself to the drugstore and NOT take any drugs. I'm sore and exhausted. Back on the couch w/ vicodin!

I've heard of the many digestive issues that may need adjusting. Praying those go okay for me. Too early to tell.

Have to work Monday, I don't have a choice.

Had surgery Thursday, it's Tuesday and I'm still in a lot of pain. How long does this last? Moving at all hurts. I could use another couple of weeks on the couch for sure. But... it's not an option.

Follow-up w/ surgeon tomorrow.
