Doctors Refuse To Treat Overweight Patients

One of the many  reasons I decided to pursue weight loss surgery was of what I feel is a growing prejudice against the overweight.  I am just curious what the cut off weight is for service? 

I was about 40 pounds over weight with my first pregnancy.  When I was about 3 months along I fell.  I ended up going to the ER.  After I was fixed up and assured everything was fine, the ER Dr. told me that I shouldn't have gotten pregnant while overweight.  I would have all kinds of problems and the baby would probably not do well.  I left in tears.  I ended up having an idea pregnancy and an easy medicine free birth.  My daughter, now 12, is in great health and thin.
