FYI: There are alot of things that have bibliographies, but there isnt agency or entity to regulate internet lingo or online proper communication like APA/MLA formating is regulated. Is there? Nope. Not even the government call tell me how to write this posts.

Last, it's called freed of speech. We are not in China. And for all those reading this post, please type in a caps or in 5 point font. I will still read your posts because I am here to get information and not dictate on how you should type. I'm not your employer, so you don't have to impress me. :)

LOL, yeah....and she isn't reading my posts either as she isn't acknowledging the unedited source that I put up that wasn't wikipedia.

But that's okay as others are reading it and they just might remember to not type in all caps and why they shouldn't.

Her response was reactionary to people treating her terrible, which I totally understand. I have seen so many posts like hers and typically they are in response to the same people who have nothing but rude and negative comments. If people treated me like they did her, I would stand up for myself and say the same thing in caps or in lower case. If she had put it in lower case, you still would have got the context of what she was saying. Am I right? Again, wikipedia is not a reliable source under any cir****tances. It has not been accepted as a reliable source in the academia world regardless if it uses "uneditable" sources.

IF that is her response on a public forum, then she is a child who can not take it...

She was the one posting *crap* before she even had surgery and had a leg to stand on...and without crediting the proper sources. And by starting this thread, she just invited people to take potshots at her. The caps just made it harder to read.

BTW, my second source was NOT wikipedia. But you are ignoring that one.

I cannot believe that something so simple as a PERSONAL post to a forum became the initiator of an internet war!!! Simply put: Everyone has a choice, whether it be to post something in caps or to have a signature that is hot pink....either way the author has the right to type what and how they want, just as the member has the right to read or ignore the text. From what I have read, Lady757 merely stated that she wrote in caps because she wanted to and because she was frustrated...that in itself shows that she wasn't yelling at anyone in particular. But, since we've hit the subject so many times of being "rude", calling the member ignorant, a drop out and a child (just to name a few of the things she was called) proves to be even more disrespectful than her using caps. I think before anyone passes judgment, one should take a step back to observe their own actions...bullying and name calling was something done in HIGH SCHOOL...and since all are giving the impression of being so highly educated, I'm sure cyber-bullying is something that should be beneath you all! Said best...If you don't like it don't read it, no one will feel any type of way if you choose to ignore their post, just as you shouldn't feel any way for them not typing in the style of your choice! The last time I checked, this was a social site for encouragement, support and guidance for those who have already endured and are exploring alternative weight loss options...this is NOT an AP english course.
