Revision advice

Both my rny & my revision were open. I'd rather be healthy than scar-free.

Yes, I had dumping, quite badly, but the main reason for my revision was esophageal erosion from constant puking. The ring around my stoma prevented me from eating.

I had regained, from my low of 175 to 221 by 6 years out. My body settled there and didn't move off of that number until the revision, even with a medically-supervised 1200 calorie a day diet.

I didn't realize how bad my quality of life was until after the revision was done and I was healed, and then I saw that things were better -no more throwing up, no more dumping, now I can grab the advil if my feet hurt (3 days of Book Expo and boy do I need it), and I've lost weight. I get to eat real food this time around, too.
