Holy shizz, finally got my pre op pic...now 164lbs down
Ive been wanting this picture for a whole year....my surgeon said I would get it at my one year appt, but it didnt upload to his phone and he said he would email it to me....I didnt have much faith because I know how busy he is, but at that appt he asked if I would write a testimonial and he would put my before/after on his website...I told him testomonial for picture...well he pulled through and emailed it today....317 lbs and today 153....I feel absolute sadness and embarassment when I look at my before but I am glad I have it now so I can never forget.

WOW...you look awesome. When I look back at my pre op pic I can not believe that I was that big and I yell at everyone in my family for not telling me how big I was. I NEVER let anyone take a picture of me, I think the last pic I have is when I graduated in 1981.....so now whenever I get the urge to eat something sweet or over eat I will look at that ugly fat pre op picture that I put on my refrigerator to remind me....
You did an awesome job and you look so beautiful and so happy....congrats

Amy you are absolutely STUNNING!!!! I think we are all embarrassed of our "before" pics...that is why I keep a copy on my refrigerator - so I NEVER go back there again! If it makes you feel any better, here is my DISGUSTING pre-op surgery day pic (yes, that paper bikini thing is SO weird lol):

And this one my son took of me in a "real" bikini today LOL, at 119 lbs (18 months on maintenance now):

What a difference 2 years makes...lol. P.S. I absolutely LOVE your hair!!!

Oh my gosh - thank you for your kind words! It's funny because I always admired your dang collar bones and how you look in long dresses (now I can finally wear them too!). The feeling is mutual!! :) And I was falling in love with the original poster's cute hair. It's great that we can all admire things about one another. I
OH for so many reasons!!!

Thanks girl! I remember when you got your surgery date and hit your 100 lb milestone last year too. It's so cool to watch the progressive of other members and it still inspires me to stay on track.
I think we needed a picture parade on the main boards Amy...well done! You are workin that WLS, you look SO good and much happier (I noticed my facial expression in my before pic was NOT a happy one either - I was so utterly miserable back then and basically just existing). Now, we're LIVING. :)
