I love artificial sweeteners... but I suppose I need to say 'goodbye' to them.

I've read a lot of previous studies about how sweet drinks encourage you eat more calories, but this study also suggests that consuming artificial sweeteners has a negative effect on blood glucose and weight gain.

And so many other things...
The good news - there are now, last year or so, many new great tatsting supplemnest with natural sweeteners - like stevia.

The artificail sweeteners affect me. In many ways.  Now - I avoid them as much as I can. I may, accasionally have an RTD with some artifical sweeteners, but maybe 1-2 times a month? Even the SF gum has them now.

I don't like the taste of them, frankly.

once upon a time I had a group to talk about Binge Eating Disorder, and later one about Clean Eating.

PM me if you are interested in either of these.

Date sugar, agave, fructose, barley malt sweetener~all in very limited quantities keep me satisfied, my blood sugar constant and avoiding all the artificial ick that I used to consume in mass quantities but now cannot even tolerate the smell of.  No dumping for me either.  I even had to change to a naturally sweetened protein supplement as I could not tolerate anything with sugar alcohols.
I am a big advocate of clean eating!

I'm very leery of any article paraphrasing a scientific study, they tend to take info out of context and present it in a way to captivate the reader at the cost of factual reporting. Also, I prefer to read the actual scientific study itself, that way you find out the details as they were intended.
