where did all the Veterans go?I
Here's my experience: as an early post op, I was here often. Then, I lost all my weight and really didn't see the need in my life for this website; I got involved in other sites surrounding my hobbies, family life etc. and drifted away. Then, I started having problems and regain and came back....and I've been here ever since. I really feel, for me, that when I start to FORGET I had WLS, that is when I get into trouble with regain. So I come here every day as a reminder.....and if I help someone thru one of my posts, that's icing on the cake!

I like coming here everyday for a lot of reasons. I do talk about eating issues sometimes, help a person out if I can, and I post links in my Clean Eating group but mostly I just come to socialize.
big, interesting group and a lot of folks I like. some drama when you want, easily avoided when you don't. what's not to love?
oddly, I do best when I "forget" I had surgery. not sure why.

once upon a time I had a group to talk about Binge Eating Disorder, and later one about Clean Eating.
PM me if you are interested in either of these.
size 8, life is great
I also find I need to come to OH daily. I don't answer many post especially when people don't go through a few days worth of posts to see if there question has already been asked or answered.
I miss those who were a couple of years out when I was first starting the process.
Welcome back. If I were to take 3-4 months off OH, I'm afraid I couldn't keep "centered" about keeping my eating and behavioral habits in line.
