Diet, orange oil, smell
You are telling me that you don't know what surgery you had and what your intestinal configuration is? And that "nobody told you how to eat" and you wear diapers?
Do you need someone to take your hand and help you step by step?
Step one: Get a copy of your surgical report and learn what your insides look like. When you get it post it so we can know what you have.
Step two: Get your labs done. ALL of them. THIS LIST: docs.google.com/Doc This is LIFE OR DEATH.
Step two B: Post your labs on the DS forum and ask for advice about your supplements.
Step three: Get on this supplementation program AT the BARE minimum NOW: www.gblcreations.com/Resources/Gina/ProgramDRNY_ERNY_BPDDS3- 2010.pdf
If you were getting enough Calcium and Iron you would not be wearing diapers. So I know you aren't getting enough of those. That is where you start TODAY and then you get all the rest of the vitamins on that list and start them ASAP. Or you are going to die. Not kidding. Step four: Stop eating tomato sauce. That is the number one cause of oil slicks other than fat. Stop eating fat until you get on the calcium and iron and then you can slowly add fat back in your diet.
Step five: Go to this forum: www.obesityhelp.com/forums/ds/a,messageboard/board_id,5357/
and read every thing you can possibly read.
Step six: Get yourself a therapist. There is no reason you should have been living in diapers. You need to work out why you let yourself get to this point and didn't get the help you needed.
There is absolutely no reason to live the way you are living. There are TONS of people who will help you. Asking for help here was a GREAT first step but you have a long way to go and only you can take control of your life and get yourself healthy.

Thanks so much for responding. Although I don't understand much of what you posted my advice from the previous post I made to you about what you MUST do still stands.
You need to work with a good internal medicine doctor and do everything I listed.
There is no reason for you to have such a poor quality of life. And if you don't take care of your labs and supplements you won't have ANY quality of life because you will die.
Let us know when you get your labs done and we can help you adjust the basic VitaLady plan (which you need to start immediately).
If you stop the tomato products and limit your fat intake the DHR should stop. You need 100 MINIMAL grams of protein a day. You should start getting 2-3 protein shakes a day (high protein low carb WHEY protein powder.)
Is your weight normal now? What is your BMI?
Get a copy of your last surgery report and then post it for us. We have to know exactly what it says so we can give you the correct advise.
If you will work with us you can get a LOT better. Are you able to do that?

You are very lucky that you found us. There are so many kind, generous and smart people here who can help you get a better quality of life.
I don't know where I would be if it wasn't for the people here who know so much and share so freely.
So call your surgeon's office and ask them to mail you a copy of your surgery report from when Sudan did your surgery.
We can start there. Once we know if you have a DS, a distal RnY or whatever then we can help you more.
But the DHR and oil slicks can stop really fast and it doesn't matter which surgery you had.
You understand what you should do about your diet for that, right?
How much and what type of Calcium are you taking? Calcium is critical after weight loss surgery and it has the GREAT side effect of helping with loose stools. Actually a lot of us have problems with constipation because we take so much calcium.
We have found (as a large group of people with a malabsorptive surgery) that 99.9% of doctors (EVEN OUR VERY OWN SURGEONS) do not know what our labs need to look like and what vitamins and supplements we need to take.
But lets start with your surgery report, starting to change your diet and finding out what type and how much calcium you are taking.

Baby steps.
Get your surgery report. Until we know what surgery you have we are doing a lot of guessing about what you need. Your food and vitamins depend on what surgery you had.
Can you call and make an appointment with your primary doc? You really really really need to get those labs run.
Get Calcium Citrate (NOT carbonate) at Walmart or wherever. Generic is fine. Take 2 pills 4 times a day. Do this today!!! This is just the start of the vitamins you need. But you gotta start somewhere, right?
For now stop the tomato sauces. Later you can probably add it back.
You can post or PM me what you eat every day and we can start counting carbs and protein together. I post what I eat every day too. If you want to post it here that is good or you can post it to me privately.
If you are drinking sugar: sweet tea, orange juice, soda, stop. Drink mostly water or water flavored with lemon and splenda or crystal light type stuff. If you are eating junk food, deserts, candy, sweets, you know you need to stop that. Focus on protein (meat, cheese, eggs). We'll work on your diet together.
Write me tomorrow night what you ate and we'll start seeing what is what.
You are going to be feeling SO much better really soon.
I'll see you tomorrow.
P.S. What can I call you?

I have one suggestion in regards to getting the O.R. report. She should call the hospital where her surgery was performed and get her O.R.,labs and endoscopy report(s) from them.
I had my revision last may and the report I got directly from the surgeons office neglected to mention that my band had eroded. I point blank asked them if it had eroded and they said, " NO ' I requested the O.R. report from the hospital and that is where I was able to find out that the lap band in fact did erode.
