hahaha you are so right! I'm just afraid to have my feelings hurt, but of course I wouldnt want to be with someone who would see some loose skin as a dealbreaker

Loose shin is not a deal breaker for true love in my book. I can see that you are young and your skin is probably not as loose as YOU think it looks. As we age that skin does not spring back like it does when we are younger. What the heck...nothing springs back when you are older....the spring is broken !!!!!!
You are a total FOX !!!!!! From the pictures on your profile, you have nothing to worry about. LOL
If the better half reads this I am dead......bigger risk than surgery was !!!
Enjoy life and love.
P.S. Remember that with the RNY you get that drink all at once. Just read about a gal getting a DUI on one drink because of the RNY.

haha thank you!

I am careful with drinking of course, but I can still put them away, I plan on not making too much of a fool of myself with a total stranger!

Don't take your clothes off unless you are both actually in love or married and that takes time.  You will have also told him about the loose skin and weight loss ahead of time so he won't be surprised.

What a quaint response :)

In a couple of dates time, if there is chemistry and you both like each other - I'd start by telling him that you used to be much heavier, I wouldn't even tell him about surgery immediately. I'd do it in steps to feel out his reactions. Maybe he's a fat-biased ass, or maybe he has a sister that had WLS, who knows right now? I'd just take the conversation slow and start with being previously heavy and take it from there. In my experience, guys overlook way more of our imperfections than we do :)
Congrats on your new found freedom. Have fun!

Funny. that's exactly what I did when I met my boyfriend over 3 years ago.  Told him I used to be much heavier.  He didn't care.  Even funnier (to me), I didn't tell him that I had WLS until he moved in over a year ago.  Just didn't come up in conversation.  He was curious about what the "OH web site" was. LOL

I disagree with this advice.  Take your clothes off, as the adviser above me puts it, as soon as you're comfortable doing so.  If he shows anything other than desire, then walk away.  Waste less time :)

Temporarily holding on losing more because I'm gaining!  Pregnant with my first baby (a boy!) due June 2013, after two rounds of IVF.  SO GRATEFUL!
