Luck
Wish me luck, everybody! I'm going to a second plastic surgeon about getting a pannilectomy to remove my excess skin. Hopefully, she'll have answers for me instead of the royal runaround that I've been getting. She already knows my case history. If lucky, we can arrange a surgery date in the near future. Keep your fingers crossed. Thanks.
I've had that surgery about a year and 1/2 ago. Allot of docs seem afraid to do that surgery because it is a major, MAJOR proceedure. Don't stop looking, though. I don't know where you are from, but I had my panni done in Boston, Mass. My surgeon is also a surgery instructor. I had 20 lbs cut off of my belly. I have one long incision (sp?) starting from one hip down to just above my pubic area and back up again to my other hip. I needed this surgery because I had a hernia in my belly button and all that hanging fat was pulling on it and causing me great pain.
I realy hope you have this done. It doesn't hurt much, (at least mine didn't. Everyone is different) but the recovery is long. The greatest moment was sitting in the chair at the hospital, looking down and seeing my lap for the first time in years!
Don't give up on your search. It will be worth it! Take care.

Do you see the glass as half empty or half full? I say, what difference does it make--I paid for a full glass,so either way I am getting jipped!!!
