THURSDAY GRATEFUL POST

 Good Morning Everyone,

Hope that everyone is doing well and getting ready for the weekend.    Things are finally improving in my family.......hope now things don't start falling apart now that I have made this statement.   LOL  We ALL have so very much in our lives to be grateful for....if for nothing else you are alive and breathing and reading here on OH.     PLEASE feel free to share with us what you are grateful for today.    Today I personally am grateful for God's grace shown toward my family.     Life is not perfect and trust me...my family has been going through alot lately.    WIthout my Faith in God I would have probably crumbled and died.    Seems like things going on with  my kids ( a 25 yr. old ) seems to affect me more than if something was going on with myself or my health.    I know that God is doing a mighty work in his life and re-directing the path that he was traveling on.    SO grateful for my WLS, Family and friends,  health, life and every good thing that has come into my life and the bad things too ( because the bad things help teach me things ),    Grateful to OH for all the wonderful people here and for the upcoming OH Conference in New Orleans. La.   Sept 9 -10.

Your post today was just what i needed.  I have been questiong weather God would approve and the serenity prayer has helped answer that question.  Now the courage to go through with it is all i need to work on.  I'm concerened because of my age of over 60, so if there are others this age I would sure love to hear how you have done.  Also if this is the second time for anyone and how difficult the surgery and recovery was. Blessings to all!
