Relationships after WLS

My relationship with my husband is the same. My relationship with my friends is the same. My relationships with some co-workers changed (and not for the better). I also made a lot of new friends.

Ours was already weak to start with because we were divorced but trying to work on things again. The emotions I felt after surgery and with all the complications pretty much shut me out from him, and I told him I wanted out. Totally my fault, and now 7 mths later we are trying to talk again. Instead of letting him help me thru a hard time, I let it push me away. Again, my fault.

I've been fairly lucky with friends. Three of my good friends have also had WLS at the same time I did, so we've been each others rocks through it all. Some friendships I think are even stronger now. I have had 1 where I found the girl to be jealous, because I get more attention now. I'm not even letting it affect me though, no big deal :)
