How can I make IsoPure taste better?
I've tried six different flavors of IsoPure, and the only two I can stand to drink is Passionfruit and Icy Orange. So far, the only ways I've found to make it taste better are mix it equally with a light drink(such as a Crystal Light beverage) or add so much Splenda that it's ridiculous. Any suggestions?
I gave ALL of mine away. Before surgery it was "eh" and after surgery...pfffttttt forget it.
I had to go with plain old vanilla (Muscle Milk or SEI) and doctor it up (usually with coffee hehe)
to me it's the equivalent of drinking snot that leaves a rubbery weird feeling and aftertaste in my mouth
No thanks
Peace

Try some easy variations:
- different quantities of IsoPure to water (the ratio)
- different temperatures of water
- different quantities of ice
- mix a couple of flavors together
- add a squirt of SF syrup (like vanilla to make it taste creamier)
Use the powder to make or flavor other things or to add protein to them:
- mix the powder into warm foods that will hide the flavor but not hot enough to lump it up
- mix it with ricotta cheese or SF pudding or jello

I put some in the freezer and let it get slushy - ice cold it's much better.
then when it's gone, get some Syntrax Nectars. consider the Strawberry Kiwi.

once upon a time I had a group to talk about Binge Eating Disorder, and later one about Clean Eating.
PM me if you are interested in either of these.

The green apple liquid kind is not bad. I hated the blue kind. It has to be very cold. I bought the powdered ISOPURE because it was on sale. Big mistake.... too frothy. I was trying to mix it in my blender with decaf coffee and sugar free hazelnut syrup (torinno sp?) Big yucky mess.:( Are you not suppose to use it in a blender?
In my opinion, the only way to make the type of IsoPure you're using taste any better is to mix it with toile****er. That stuff is nasty.
Have you tried the Isopure Low Carb protein mix? You can get it at GNC and the Vitamin Shoppe.
I like it because it does not taste bad at all, plus it has 50 grams of protein. I generally purchase the Dutch Chocolate because I have found the other flavors to be too sweet day in and day out. However, the Cookies-n-Cream and the Banana flavor are good as well.
Hope you find something soon that works for you!!!
