Body contouring rare after weight loss surgery

I'm very fortunate to have had a TT to remove my skin... I was having issues with my belly button, it was in a fold of skin and the skin would break apart and bleed... It's made a huge difference for me mentally as well. Take a look at my plastics pics, my results came out better than I could have imagined. It was worth every penny!
Would I love to have more, yes... maybe down the road.

I was told from the start to doccument any and all issues related to being over weight and excess skin. My Dr. always records the issues I have due to the skin folds. By the time it is all said & done I hope to have lost approximately 400 lbs. With that much weight loss I know I will definitely need plastics in order to have a good quality of life.

I'm still trying to figure out how someone gets their excess skin caught in an electronic car seat. Did it really hang down to the floor of the car?

I have had some PS and if I can figure out how to pay for the rest you can bet I'll finish the process.   Simply amazing how much better I feel about myself without the excess skin.

I am so very lucky.  My boobs could use some lifting, went for my most recent mammogram and mentioned it to the radiologist (or whateve u call them :-)  and she said, buy a padded bra, which I did, but I still hate my lil tube socks.

I only have a small amount of sag, here there and everywhere and my arms don't look bad either, considering I've lost about 205 lbs.  It's amazing  how different everyone's bodies react to the huge weight losses.   Think I'll just suck it up unless a rich man comes into my life who wants to finance it - ha ha - not holdin' my breath on that note, but it's all good.

Just happy to be able to fit into smaller clothes and LOOK GOOD  :-)

WTF this couldn't be more insulting, do they seriously think people who are overweight and seek wls are ******g stupid?  I didn't need plastics because of health issues, I never ripped off a piece of skin, I wanted it because it made me feel fat and disgusting to carry around rolls of stretched out gross skin.  My money my choice.  If I was rich I would have it all done but I am not so I settled for what I thought would make me happiest.  Not everyone needs or wants more surgery but I doubt there is one person who has sought wls that didn't worry about what their body might look like afterwards.  Doctors sometimes can be such dicks.

My insurance approval letter for RNY mentioned plastics... mentioned they would NOT be paying for them, panni or otherwise, under any cir****tances. Well, OK, then!

Temporarily holding on losing more because I'm gaining!  Pregnant with my first baby (a boy!) due June 2013, after two rounds of IVF.  SO GRATEFUL!
