Meatballs

Veggie Patch Meatless Meatballs - Now you can find these fancy balls of faux meat in the freezer aisle, not just the refrigerated section of the produce aisle. So if you want to keep some veggie meatballs on hand for emergencies, stash these in your freezer! The stats are the same as the refrigerated version -- a 6-meatball serving has 140 calories, 5g fat, 390mg sodium, 8g carbs, 3g fiber, 1g sugars, and 16g protein (PointsPlus® value 3*). As the Veggie Patch peeps say, "Your spaghetti and family will thank you."  I got this from Hungry girl web site.  I thought it might be an interesting idea because of the amount of protein and it's easy.  This and maybe a little bit of spaghetti squash for a cold winter night.  I don't mean to sound like an advertisement.  It's just I know I need all the ideas that I can get and wanted to share with you guys.

So how do these meatless meatballs taste?

If you slipped one to somebody would thaey know it was not meat?

Just curious.

I'm not sure.  The biggest thing they might say is the way it's seasoned.

I just bought them this past week and used them in a soup recipe rather than beef or turkey meatballs.  You can't tell the differnce and they really hold up.  I'm going to start using them in all my recipes that call for meatballs.

I think I've got to get myself some. I just wouldn't tell my family that they're healthy.
