FRIDAY GRATEFUL POSTII
TGIF Everyone,
Hope you have a fantastic weekend planned. Mine is going to start with a support breakfast tomorrow. I am so Grateful for the times that I meet with other WLS patients for a support group of anytime. We ALL need support and encouragement no matter where we are in our WL journeys. As the holiday season gets into full swing it is usually pretty easy to come up with things in our lives that we are grateful for....but to be truthful....we SHOULD be grateful everyday for the good things in our lives and not just one day a year. This post is to remind everyone that no matter how bad or bleak that our life seems at times there is alway something to be grateful for. Just think.....you have use of a computer or you wouldn't be seeing this....that is something to be grateful for. Simple as that. Today I am grateful for all the material things in my life that I am blessed with daily. Grateful for my health, WLS and all choices of different surgeries. Grateful for my wonderful family and grateful that my husband has allowed me to be a stay at home Mom while all three of my sons were growing up. Grateful for my Faith and answered prayers. Grateful for Obesity Help and all the great lifelong friends that I have made here ( some I have actually met face to face and some I have not ). Grateful for the holiday season coming up and grateful for all the things that are in my life both now and in the future. PLEASE share with us if you will what you are grateful for today.
Hugs and blessings ~~~ Vivian

GOD GRANT ME THE SERENITY TO ACCEPT THE THINGS I CAN NOT CHANGE; COURAGE TO CHANGE THE THINGS THAT I CAN; AND THE WISDOM TO KNOW THE DIFFERENCE !!!! THIS IS MY DAILY PRAYER.

Today I am grateful that my friend and mentor will be putting on a live event 2 weeks before Christmas.
I haven't booked my flight and hotel yet as I just got the invitation. But I believe that this event will help me take my business to the next level and I am grateful that someone I met online 3 years ago, I'm finally gonna meet face-to-face. Along with all the other wonderful people who will be attending.
I'm grateful that my grandmother and most of my family in her age bracket (70-85) are still alive to tell me all the great stories of triumphs and trials they faced growing up.
They always tell me I have it so easy. And after hearing what they had to go through, I believe them.

Today I am very grateful for so much. I am especially grateful that the company my DH works for was bought by a larger company with even greater benefits and hugely expanded career opportunities within this much larger business. I am thankful for my job, and the new coworker whose becoming a great pal. I am thankful for my DH, who has become a much better father and loving spouse after his full recovery from cancer. I am thankful for my weight loss and for all the wonderful clothes I'm able to indulge myself with now. Size 20+ clothes just could never make me love shopping as much as I do now. I call them my treasure hunts....for I find the most delightful bargains when I least expect them. I have a size 14 that I can...almost...fit into. I am thankful for the cool things I find in the Goodwill stores all over town...and thankful for the 5 bags I gave them two weeks ago that makes room for more treasures to come.....
