Facial Hair Loss

I just finished my surgical class this past Monday and when I asked about losing facial hair no one seemed to have a good answer.

I understand about losing hair on top of your head and hair thinning, but what about facial hair. I have a beard and I don't want chunks falling out....lol....

I know this is the least of my worries, but I like to be prepared as much as I can for my jan/feb surgery date.

You really have no idea what you are asking here, I know you are a guy and its different for you, but every womyn here who suffers with facial hair wished, hoped and prayed the ******g **** would all fall out after surgery.  No such luck.

I have never heard of a guy getting WLS and ending up with a patchy beard ....

honestly Most guys here have super -nice hair ....

I don't hear a lot of complaining from the male sector about hair loss either so maybe U guys jes get Lucky lol ...

( or maybe we ladies notice the longer hair in the drain more ...)

If Ure really worried about it U can take hair /skin/ nails vitamins and grow and thicken that hair

I find the opposite happened. I don't wear a beard on a normal basis, but I found that my facial hair seems much more full. I think because my face is not so bloated and the hair folicles are closer together it looks thicker and not patchy. May not be the case, but it sounds reasonable to me.

Thanks very much! I have been cursed (or blessed) with super thick curly hair.... It drives me crazy most times, I just don't want to lose good ole beardy!

 I'm heading towards 50 in 5 weeks and menopausal I Pray for facial hair loss!  Laser does NOTHING for Fine white hair!  PLUCKING does!  OY!!! 
For you men folk I'll  share the few  sparse Facial hairs I have!   :)  In life we have to have  H U M O R  , post op we really NEED it!  Hug to all Post OP fella's fearing Facial  Hair loss!
