Thank you.  You said exactly what I was thinking, but I guess due to my "missing soul" I wasn't able to convey it as appropriately as you

I simply think the various stories and posts she has made don't "jive" or whatever.  I do have empathy for anyone who is struggling -- I simply don't believe things are as dramatic as she implies.  If she were dying it would be illegal for a hospital not to treat her.

I think your number one issue is to get insurance so you can get lab work and a doctor to see you, you say you can't work or go to school, are you disabled medically? Sounds like you might be a little fogging, do you have somone that can help you with paperwork.

Gallbladder ~ nearly everyone has to have their gallbladder removed post weight loss surgery.  Known side effect, NOT a complication

Adhesion's and a hernia ~ known complication of ANY abdominal surgery

Appendix ~ TOTALLY UNRELATED

Ulcers ~ Known side effect

Esophageal narrowing ~ aka stricture; also known side effect

Extreme weakness and fatigue ~ signs & symptoms of iron deficient anemia

Iron deficient anemia ~ known side effect; take your supplements

Hyperthyroidism and have an over active thyroid instead of under active which is what I had prior to the surgery ~ are you having your TSH monitored and titrating your thyroid medication accordingly?

High Blood Pressure ~ uh, because you’re vomiting because of your untreated stricture?

I sense a Panic mode, understandable, but not going to solve this, I urge you to go to a PCP and discuss you history and let him work it out fresh,
Not being a doctor, i dismiss the appendix as coincidence,  your gall bladder should of come out during the original surgery,  no change in pouch size , congratulations on not stretching it out, you've been good on following the rules of chewing and not over eat ting.
the high BP needs to be addressed,  a PCP will be able to find a reason for that.   you may just be stressing out on this.

 Sherry,
I am so sorry you are having these issues, feel free to read my page/blog...you are NOT alone! You can also check out the complications forum. I have been through a lot as well, if I were you I would do whatever you can to get yourself to a major medical center like Cleveland Clinic. I know it's far, but they aren't going to turn you away. Please get somewhere quickly, I'm concerned (as I know you are) about your health. Good luck and take care!

If your parents have insurance through their employer, you can be added to their plan without being employed or a student through age 26.

If you were unable to drink, you'd have been dead in a matter of days, not still ticking 3 years later.

I would settle for just plain medical care right now.  Reach out to your PCP.
