My ex husband's grandmother isn't really all there.  She has these fake flowers in her yard.. not even good ones.  These horrible, cheap, plastic, brightly colored tulips.  She waters them because "she doesn't want the neighbors to know that they are fake".   She wears pink, orange and red ONLY (with LOTS of plastic beads) and has a 3 foot tall black beehive.
Anyway, I think she just shops at the dollar store throughout the year and then wraps random stuff to send to the family.  Gifts we have gotten:  A short garden hose.  She sent my ex-husband a panty hose hanger and a nail polish set.  A power strip.  My daughters have gotten cheap, plastic toy cars, blocks and generic barbies.  They were all 15+.  Generic hair gel.  You get the idea.
She always sent the gifts to my ex's parent's house and they would bring them over when we celebrated.  (She lives a state away).  We always looked forward to "Grandma Presents".   One time, we opened a huge, plastic mallard duck clock.  It was... AWFUL.  His parents had laughed themselves into tears when they saw our reaction.  It turns out that that was actually the gift she had sent to his DAD, but his dad had rewrapped it and stuck Mike's name on it.  (Mike is my ex).    We kept that clock in the closet and rewrapped it and gave it to Mike's dad for Father's Day.  He gifted it back to Mike on Mike's birthday.  We gave it to them on the following Christmas.  Eventually, my parents got it.  They gave it back to us and on it went like that.   After like 4 or 5 years, I am not sure who ended up with the clock.

It was one of those 'Secret Santa' things at the job.  ($10.00 is what was the agreed upon approx. cost of intended gift.)

A person in one of the higher paycheck ranges pulled my name.  I received a used tin lapel pin that had a broken clasp.

Ever since then, whenever someone would pull this persons name, they would ask if they could 'pull again'.  Of course this is not allowed.  She would always do something like this but would never just opt-out.  Oh well.  Go figure.

Oh, that's easy.  My ex-sister in law gave me a bathroom scale one year.  A scale!  To a fat girl!
