Has anyone had plastics by Dr Q in TJ around here?
Or have had plastics done in Mexico?

If so, May I know who and your experience? I am definitely looking for Dr. Q patients.

I'm sure there are great surgeons in TJ, but there are a lot of butchers there too. I'm glad you're seeking references. I've heard there is a great surgeon in Curitoba, but don't recall his name. I'll check with the DSers and see if I can get it.

I had surgery with him. He did a good job on my lower body lift, but a terrible job on my breasts and arms. Really, really terrible. He left in permanent stitches, I have a huge amount of arm hang so that they barely look like they were touched, and my boobs aren't symmetrical. I did meet Michelle (Eggface) in person and her work looks good, but I (and others) had awful work done.

There have been a number of unsatisfied people who posted over on the plastic surgery forum. One woman (Janel B) has a horror story of not being transferred to a hospital when she lost blood and went into shock. Gracies came out with severely disfigured boobs and a blob of skin between them. There were a lot of really bad posts and pictures over on the Plastic Surgery Journeys website, but unfortuantely that board seems to have been abandoned.

Every time someone asks about Dr. Quiroz, you get a lot of shill posters who post wonderful things about him. Most of the negatives aren't in the review section, which is odd considering they were there at one time but seem to have disappeared. Robin B. had problems and went to Dr. Sauceda to have them corrected, but most of her posts about Dr. Quiroz have disappeared.

There are a lot of fake accounts that post in defense of Dr. Quiroz and Cosmed, I would take that as a warning sign:

One other thing that REALLY bothered me: One other Quiroz patient/supporter, a woman who seemed to have surgery addiction issues, was allowed to read Gracies file and posted about it on PS Journeys. In the US that would have been a major privacy violation and the doctor would have been sued.

Haha! If I could afford both I'd have my arms redone in a heartbeat.

My house (I bought an estate sale home last year) needs a kitchen desperately. The kitchen hasn't been updated since the 1920s, except for a new stove. I have one cabinet, one ancient porcelain sink and that's it. We're budgeting 25K for this and we're trying to put it together.
