MONDAY GRATEFUL POST
Good Morning Everyone,
Hope everyone had a good weekend. Today I am grateful for my family, friends, WLS and choices today for WLS, the news I got over the weekend that I willl share with you tomorrow ( was told not to tell today ). Grateful for all the material things in my ilfe, that I am blessed to have all my arms, legs, my sight ( although it is not so great anymore ), my hearing and my sense of smell. Grateful for Obesity Help and all the wonderful message boards and support groups which are so important in our WL journey. Grateful for a second chance to overcome my food addiction. Grateful that my son is doing so great in Teen Challenge ( he is 5 months sober from his heron addiction ). Grateful for my Faith and answered prayers. PLEASE share with us if you will what you are grateful for today.

GOD GRANT ME THE SERENITY TO ACCEPT THE THINGS I CAN NOT CHANGE; COURAGE TO CHANGE THE THINGS THAT I CAN; AND THE WISDOM TO KNOW THE DIFFERENCE !!!! THIS IS MY DAILY PRAYER.

I am grateful. I'm grateful that I had a wonderful week with my son and my parents just prior to my surgery - we flew together to my son's home in Canada and celebrated a combo Thanksgiving/Christmas. I'm grateful that my employers have been so supportive in my decision to do this and have encouraged to me to take the time I need to heal. I'm grateful my husband has been supportive of my journey. He would have been happy with me staying my current size, but when I explained my health concerns and why I really wanted to do this, he changed his mind and decided that I needed to do what was best for me. I am grateful for how strongly he advocated for me in the hospital and how quick he has been to do anything I need since I got home. I'm grateful for my friends and family who love me and have been praying for me and checking with me continuously to make sure I was ok. And I'm grateful that I found OH about ten years ago and have been able to visit it whenever I needed support or encouragment.
