Sad subject

I do know of one man who died a few weeks after surgery.  They nicked his intestines and he became septic and died.  He was well over 500 pounds before surgery.  The larger you are to start with the riskier the surgery is (I believe that is the case anyway).

EVERYONE is going to "know" someone who died from the surgery.  It could be their friend's cousin's ex-sister in law's nephew's cousin's wife......in saying that....people hear about stories and take them as fact....when they are hearsay.

I don't know anyone who has died from WLS. My 47 year old, super morbidly obese brother in law died suddenly Nov 30 of a heart attack. My sister found him in a chair at 4 AM when she got up to go to work.
