My bad then it seems. However I am sure you can appreciate the irony that immediately after I post about having a pay cut you post saying you can't "STAND" people who ***** about pay cuts.
I must say I am very gun shy about posting, I am trying to be more involved but I have been very nervous that I will be flamed for the smallest thing, so when your post pointed out 'exactly' what I had said in mine it definately got me defensive.
If thats not what was meant then again you have my appologies for calling you out.

It's whatever. Your post wasn't even showing when I posted.
But FYI I have applied to every job available. I don't speak spanish so fast food jobs aren't available to me in this area (go figure). My degree is in psychology, so yes - I have been in the **** throwing situation before -- however now they require one to be licensed for those positions, and I am not. I have applied ... employers are not interested. Whatever...suffice it to say that I have tried EVERYTHING and will take ANYTHING.
While it's true that I understand it must be hard to deal with a pay cut, it's even harder to deal with a "paycheck" of zero, month after month. I am truly sorry if you felt attacked -- I was referring to my real life friends, not those who are on internet forums.
Don't be nervous about throwing your 2 cents in and posting whenever .... I was definitely not flaming you.

Thank you. I appreciate it.
So sorry about your situation, I can't imagine what I would be doing if I didn't have my job, you're right none is worse than less, and in my case, we don't even need the cut, it's that the agency is being mis managed which is where the real frustration is coming from.
As I said, I don't know if you are able to move, not an easy thing to do or even feasible for many, but in my area you don't need a license to be a mental health worker and they are looking for tons of people. PM if you want more info on it. The job shortage is really location dependant and that sucks.
For what its worth, I would never ***** about a pay cut to a friend I knew was struggling. I only did in this forum because it is a *****fest thread, letting all the dirty laundry air. So I completely understand how that can **** you off, totally justified!
Have you thought about going back to school? You would put your loans into deferment and you would get loans for cost of living which can help with bills. yes you would have more to pay back after but there is a new program that forgives all of your student loan debt if you work in non-profit for 10 years and it lowers your monthly payments, called Income Based Repayment. You might allready know of it or thought of it, but just thought I would throw it out there.

Just a little info on how this board works---when someone is replying directly to you, you should get an e-mail notification. I say should, because sometimes there's a glitch and you don't. (*grin*)
We have 30,000 Christmas lights on the outside of our house and at least a hundred cars and buses drive by each night to check out our holiday light display.
However, I have yet to start Christmas shopping and still haven't put up the tree *inside* the house. I think my priorities are all screwed up. FML.
Oh, and one other thing... this is the 3rd time I've tried to post this. The first two times it disappeared into the ether. It better ******g work this time. :-/
