Yes I am anorexic but I still have respect for over weight people. I DO NOT DRINK! I DO NOT GET DRUNK! And I didn't tell him cause it still would not have changed his mind. I don't want a person that is going to judge over weight people. And I don't think my anorexia has anything to do with his commment.

And thank you for telling everyone I am anorexic. Way to go and call someone out.

Hi!  I'm a guy.  There are many guys in the world but I am me and others are not.  I like playing guitar, flying planes (real and R/C), and relaxing on an autumn day.  The potato is easily my favorite food, I don't like food that's too spicy, I don't care to watch tv, and I'm not much for the color orange.  I'm also not in any way attracted to fat people.

There, I said it.

According to the way it's presented in the media, I should feel horrible about this and what is more that my being fat myself somehow removes my right to have personal tastes.  Like that girl, I've had people not like me because I am fat.  I've had to face discrimination with women, in the workplace, with friends and family, and by strangers on the street.  Apparently now I face another type of discrimination in that just by being fat I lose the right to have a preference.  Truly, opressed.

I've had the fortune to meet someone that loves the fat me.  We're engaged.  I've never been happier in my life.  I mention this because it's important to remember that this was after a long string of failures and rejections due simply becaus I was fat.  Now, lets take this and turn it around.  Perhaps I have a big nose, perhaps my skin color is different, perhaps I'm from another country, maybe I don't like sports, maybe my job just isn't very good, etc.  Each of those are valid reasons to not be attracted to someone and quite frankly I don't see how being fat or not can be excluded from a list such as that.  People like what they like and don't like what they don't.  I learned to accept long ago that nobody is under obligation to ignore my size, that I wouldn't want to be with someone that doesn't like me, and I'm 100% ok with that.

I've seen time after time that there really is someone for everyone although sometimes you have to make effort to find them.  Perhaps when he said that you had a flashback to your teen years when some jerk you liked made fun of you for your size and you transferred that to this young guy, I don't know.  If he doesn't like fat girls, he doesn't like fat girls.  Being ugly doesn't make his preference any less valid.  Because he is "no prize" he's supposd to take anything that comes along, even if he's not attracted to them at all?  Hey, that's what people think about fat people to so now you're just like they are.  I can say this much, as well: I've seen many, many ugly as hell guys with BEAUTIFUL women (which, I'm so very happy to say, I feel I am included) so why should he chase something he doesn't want?  If he ends up alone forever because his standards are too high so be it but I'm willing to bet there's a looker out there somewhere that can look past his ugly face and shallowness and love him anyway.

Thank god for that otherwise I'd still be single because I'm fat.
