 Maria --

I have been writing blog posts since 2004 -- and pretty much every day since 2008.  I'd like to say it was motivation, but honestly a lot of it comes from necessity to keep my head out of the fridge (or the oven, depending on the day... just sayin') and out of my own way.

Initially it was because I was home all day everyday after I lost my ability to drive.  I got bored and had to do something -- I just amped up what I was already doing -- writing.  I never planned to blog long-term, I figured I would go back to work after a few months of seizure-control but it just hasn't happened.  I wish I had a better answer for you.

I do wonder if I would bother blogging at all/so much if I got a Big Girl Job... probably not.  But I'm currently in college, and I'm not really qualified to work anywhere and earn better than I can do from home, yet.  I don't know what I want to be when I grow up - nor do I know when I will be able to work outside of the house.  Maybe never, maybe I'm destined to work for myself ...

~I don't know what I want to be when I grow up~

Yeah that part kind of describes me too, lol.

For now, I have four kids.   I mean - that's a good enough job and all that - but I am not fulfilled as a stay at home parent - I never have been.  I want a career at some point.

Careers are over rated especially when you have to do things that repulse you.  Personally I would like to be just be wealthy and not have to work for a living.  Twenty eight years is enough.

I have a link. Other than that...no brilliance with code here.

Not that I'm saying I'm briliant...but..no...wait...I'm FREAKING awsome!

(think I may have had a teensy weensy bit too much coffee this morning. I'm totally wired.)

I haven't written as much as I should for the past few months, but I kept it up quite a bit in the beginning (I just passed my one-year post-op). It's really helpful to go back and see where I used to be, to remind myself of what I went through and why I will do all I can to never let myself go back to that. Thanks for letting me share :)

Nope, I find blogging boring, I tried for awhile to blog but I can't maintain an interest in it. I spend most of my online time not on OH on Flickr.
