I'm trying to find out which B12 is being used in this product and no where even on their site does it say which is being used, CYANOCOBALAMIN OR METHYLCOBALAMIN.

Do you know where the info is for this product?

The cyanocobalamin is not as good for us, plus a lot cheaper substitude for the Methylcobalamin.
Being as a bariatric patient I do need B12 I want to make sure I get the better of the two.

I've contacted the manufacturer to ask, I should hear by Monday.  Thank you.

Although, I note that all the other B12 products I have on hand are all cyanocobalamin, from Celebrate, Bariatric Advantage, etc.

The ASMBS does not suggest which to use -- cyano vs. methyl.

What's your B12 level running with what you're taking? Just the AM I got a note from my doctor telling me to stop taking B12, but my level wasn't given and they're not in on weekends.

I give myself an injection of B12 each month.  My levels on my blood work have always shown in the normal range, but lately, I've been exhausted and have been getting a huge number of "bad spuds" on my tongue.  You know, those little taste buds that turn white and hurt like hell?  Anyway, I stumbled on a Dr. Oz show one day that talked about vitamin B12 deficiency and they said the most noticeable symptoms were exhaustion and sore on your tongue (who knew?).  I started adding a daily sublingual B12 to my regimen and, sure enough, I have a bit more energy and I haven't had one of those horribly painful things on my tongue since.  I'm beginning to wonder just how helpful out blood testing procedures are?

Yep - forgot that one.  At any rate, I think I'm getting back to where I should be.  I've had an iron deficiency too, so I'm taking extra iron.  I don't trust my lab anymore.
