 Good Morning Everyone,

Today I am SO grateful for the power of prayer.    Without prayer in my life....I am not sure where I would be.     Grateful for everyone who has prayed for my 26 yr. old son who is in a Christian Addiction program called Teen Challenge.   If there is anyone reading this who has a loved one that is seaking out a program such as this....I recommend Teen Challenge to anyone.,    It isn't just for teens but for men and woman of all ages up to 65+ yrs. old.    It has about a 95% success rate is affordable ( not $30,000 for 3 months like most ).  It is for all kinds of addictions also not just drugs and it is nationwide.   He is now entering into his 8th month of a 12 month program.    He is also ill right now so please keep him in your prayers and his GF was admitted to the hospital last night.    Talk about when it rains it pours.    Without prayers of caring people I know my son would still be strung out on heron somewhere.    Please continue to keep him in your prayers if you would.    PLEASE share with us if you would what you are grateful for today and please I pray that i didn't offend anyone with this today.   Have a blessed and wonderful weekend.

Hugs and blessings ~~~ Vivian

I am very sorry about your son's struggles!.. My kids are still too young for that stage of things, and it is one of my biggest fears!!... I hope he continues to do well and gets over his illness soon!!

What am I grateful for?  I am grateful to be married to my best friend, to have my healthy sweet children, a happy home with lots of love and laughter, a good job, and this remarkable WLS to help me in getting as healthy as I possibly can!!, and grateful to be able to come to this website and have a virtual support group, since I am not geographically close to one.

Thank you for your reply.    Trust me I don't wish drug addiction on ANYONE !!!!  It can and does totally distroy lives of everyone envolved.    The lies, stealing and other things that goes on in a drug addicts life is so very sad.    My son was adopted by us as a infant from drug addict parents.    I never dream in a million years that he would have to go through what he has gone through for the last 14 yrs (he's 26 and has been doing drugs since 12 ).    Thank GOD he is free from his addiction.   He is 8 months clean now thanks to Teen Challenge.    It is a 12 month program.     I am so grateful your responded and that you shared what you are grateful for.   Have a blessed weekend.
