I could have been Julie but I got help.  I am so glad that the people that love me didn't give up on me.

I would love to share my story but I fear people like Heidi.  I don't need to be spoken to like that.

I'm so grateful today that I found help and a group of people that loved me until I could love myself.

Oh and this drug addict/alcoholic, my skin and all (I chose not to have plastics) ran 13.5 miles last week.  I've been running 5K's and in April will run my first half marathon.  See, I'm a recovering alcoholic/addict, a Mom, a wife, a Veteran, a runner, a friend, a daughter, and I'm me!  Life is good today.

I'd be more than happy to answer any questions via private contact.

Thank you MM.  I don't know that I have enough time to keep as involved with OH and blogs as you do.  You do a great service and I always enjoy your posts.

I didn'****ch this, but I know it happens to some people.  I do still occasionally enjoy a small glass of wine or a ****tail almost five years post op, but it's usually one, it's usually about once a month, and often, when I think I want something, I take one sip and then decide that nah, that isn't what I wanted.  I'm terribly lucky I guess.
