Trouble eating "real" food?
I'm suddenly having trouble eating real foods. It gets stuck in my chest for hours. When I say real foods I mean chicken, fish, beef, pork ect...non processed foods. Now processed foods like tv dinner type meals, I have no problem what so ever with those. I'm approaching 3 yrs post op so why would I be having an issue now and what can/should I do about it?

Don`t eat processed TV dinners; probably haven`t had one in 20 years so never thought about how processed they really are lol.
Have you ever looked at the ingredients in those pre-packaged flavourigs.....yugh.... oh well; if that`s your poison, then go for it! Could be worse I suppose.
Using flavoured low fat cream cheese melted with a bit of milk makes a wonderful alfredo sauce in case you hadn't thought of that.

No .not really strange . In a way pre-frozen foods are a little like pre-digested foods . For one thing theyre cooked to DEATH in the name of pasteurization . Needless to say most of the VITAMINS disappear during the freezing process.
Solise for trying to eat FRESH.
I buy these little powdered sauce packets ( alfredo, garlic n herb) use fat free butter buds butter solids and fat free half and half to make the sauces and then put fresh vegetables IN them . DELICIOUS and Nutritious .
A delicious way to prepare meats with a side dish like this is to use the shake n bake crispy chicken packet ... cut the ) say white meat chicken breast ) into nugget sized pieces ,, rollem in the shake n bake and bake in a 350 degree oven on a pammed cookie sheet for a like ten minutes ( or until the meat springs back when u press on it - no more cooking ) So tender and juicy !
(((())))) Good luck dear Solise ! I really applaud your efforts to cook and eat better !
I'm sure it will pay off in great health, longevity and ( even more ) beauty !

Those are all great points and DO NOT MICROWAVE fresh meat & poultry. It makes it much harder to chew and digest. Use the oven, skillet or grill. Microwaveable dinners are already processed so much with salt that it is already tenderized so the microwave doesn't matter so much.
