My April Fools Surprise just turned 12

Oh what a surprise!!!

I know how you feel.  My first pregnancy was in 1985 when they didn't do ultrasounds routinely.  I already had a boy we had adopted and wanted a girl very badly.  I even had a baby shower and everyone brought little girl clothes and dresses.
A month before I delivered I was having some spotting so they did an ultrasound and that is when I found out my girl was a boy.  I remember taking all the cute girl stuff back to the store and trading them in for the boy stuff.  I had even crocheted a bushel of pink things.
I worse part was my in laws.  They wanted a grand daughter very badly.  We decided not to tell them about the ultrasound so after I had my son (after 48 hours of labor and an emergency C Sec) my husband called them and said "It's a boy".  He told me there was silence for a few seconds and then his mother asked him "Are you sure?"  
BTW, I have 4 grand daughters.  I am so ready for a boy.  My DIL just found out she is pregnant.  I hope this is my grand son.
