Is this like Amor Vie? Don't these places cost thousands per month for their therapy? Is the therapy recognized or is it all Suzanne Somers ish?

no thousands per month but more like $3K- $4 K per year. And that included all, even monthly B12 injection.
My hot flashes and other symptoms were so bad I could not function. I used HRC for a year and they normalized me (I was desperate). After that - when the crises were over and I knew what my body needed- I work with my Gyno and she put me on bio-identical hormones... it is still very expensive... - but probably It will run me app 2K per year... for all. Meds, doc visits and labs.

HRT - Hormone Replacement therapy is shown to increase drastically chances of getting heart attacks and or strokes. In your case - since you already have heart issue - that may be a very dangerous option to take to lose a few lbs.

+it is my understanding that it is artificial manufactured hormones that cause heart issues.

My understanding is that bioidentical hormone replacement therapy made from plants and made into a cream at a compounding pharmacy does not carry this risk.

not really... The Armor-Vie is made from plants. The delivery is the issue.
The Armor vie - is implanted, and it is easy. The other form is the patches - again - bio-identical. For estrogen. Plus either the pills or sub-lingual stuff or cream for progesterone...

The cream still uses hormones - mad in the lab - but bio-identical to female hormones.

The other hormones - promerin - is natural but it is horse hormones..

BTW: I do not advocate for the Armor Vie - I liked how I felt when I was on them. They saved my sanity... I was so much more sable. I wish I can get off them,,, but for now... can't handle the side effects of the menopause... Really bad ones.. For now - to function - I need them. I woudl never advice them or recommend them for anyone to lose weight.

Huh,interesting. I use bioidentical compounded cream that contains estrogen,progestrone and testosterone.

will have to research a bit...

Do you know I didn't even know I went through menapause? I had no idea. When cycles stopped it was when I was losing weight like crazy and I thought it was due to that. I was 44. Then my weight evened out but cycles never came back. Had some labs and discovered it was a done deal, I was done. Never a hot flash, nothing.

I know, I was very lucky!
