i could talk but didnt want to it hurt to the tube hung out my nose and hit my throat every time i talked and walking putt me in tears because it would move in there. I still have no understanding as to why this was . all the other ladies would say oh your the women with the tubes i wanted to say nope this is a new fashion statement but toook to much energry. im feeling ok now just my shoulder guess still having problems with gas build up. now that im not so out of it i will get more info on monday. even my visiting nurse says i had two surgerys i think the other may of been a hital hurnia repair. I let everyone know. But please dont worry no one else had to walk around with tubes in there throat i never claimed to be normal lol alex wouldnt even kiss mom i think that was harder then anything . loretta

ok,sounds like this was a nasogastric tube and not an anesthesia breathing tube.  The anesthesia tube goes in your mouth and down your thrroat and you CANNOT tlk with it in there.

the naso gastric tube goes in your nose and down the back of your throat into your stomach. It can be used for tube feeding directly into your stomach or it can be used to drain bile and acid from your stomach or it can be clamped off and just be a precaution. Did they take anything out through it or put anything in?

But it was definately not an anesthesia breathing tube.

ya that sounds right but not sure if they drained it i know it had a little like bag thing hanging from my nose
