Why do you think you gained some back?  Did you start eating larger portions?  Snacking more?  Making different food choices?  Exercising less?  Drinking with meals?

Well then, you know what to do.  Quit drinking with meals, go back to measuring your portions, make a meal plan for the day, and plan in some physical activity.

Diet and exercise is the only way, I gave up all simple carbs, processed crap, protein bars etc.  I have already shed the bloat and now part of the 10lbs I regained is going as well.  My bf is doing the same diet and has already lost 26lbs in a month, he started at 288 and is now at 262, and he is doing it all without the benefit of wls.

No one can do it but you.

Good Luck.

I am 6 yrs out and although I have not gained (terrified to)  I've always heard of going back to the liquid diet and starting the process at that point.  I know the liquid diet sucks, but if it helps you to get back on track with the tool, hurray!

Consider the 5 Day Pouch Test...Great for getting back on track and lose weight at the same time.

I'm sure that I'll get a LOT of people telling me that this is wrong, but the one thing that helps me when I get off track is a prescription diet pill called Didrex. I'm super sensitive to many diet pills, and was pretty much anti-diet pill until trying Didrex. It has been a lifesaver for me when it comes to getting back on track with my eating and activity level when I get off track and feeling helpless.

Any of the so-called Medi-diet places prescribe it, and you can even pay with flexible spending if a doctor runs the program. My gastro doc's office runs a diet clinic, and I get it there (my regular gastro doc, and not my WLS). The nutritionist who runs the program says she gets the best weight-loss results from prescribing Wellbutrin which, as I understand it, is an anti-depressant combined with an amphetamine-like drug (something like that). She says it helps people who binge eat and also helps kill the appetite and stimulate the metabolism. She tells me that it works better than any of the other weight loss drugs available. IMPORTANT...If you have had WLS and use Wellbutrin or other drugs, ask for the non-time released versions of the medications.

I may try Wellbutrin sometime, but for now, the Didrex works really well. I don't use it often. A 90 pill bottle lasted me six months last time I got one filled. I just break it in half and take one twice a day for the first few days of getting back on my regular eating program or when trying to kick up my activity level.

Not advising anyone else to take this route. Just sayin'.....
