Aggravated Pouch

This is exactly what my surgeon said "you aggravated the hell out of your pouch". Classy medical terminology, huh. That is what seven days of post breaking up with your fiancee non-stop grazing will do. The remedy? Seven days of non-stop proteins drinks and seven days of extra dosing of Prevacid. Oh, and the stern warning "knock this crap off or it will get worse'.

Gee thanks doc. Breaking up is hard to do.

Awww, so sorry for the break up.

So sorry your not feeling good, but on a positive note the new Gatorade kiwi strawberry protein drink is pretty good! Beats shakes all day anyway.

Are you talking about the Gatorade G3 Recovery Drink?  One bottle only has 16 grams of protein while it has 40 grams of sugar (serving size one bottle= 2 servings).

LOL, Of course it tastes better than protein shakes, it's all sugar.  Be careful with it.  It is meant for athletes recovering from strenuous exercise, not weight loss.

Dang, it's one of the only things that has stayed down, but my daughter bought it for me and honestly I'm still on post op drugs and didn't even look at the bottle! Thanks for keeping me straight!

I'm sorry about your break-up. Emotional eating is hard to get past, I know.

Your doctor sounds harsh, but I'm guessing that he's just trying to keep you from heading down a path that will only make you feel worse in the end.

Take time to have compassion for yourself and focus on the future. The sadness may linger, but you don't want to start using it as an excuse to treat yourself poorly. You deserve better than that. Live a healthy life and don't forget why you started this journey in the first place.

You can do it and you have support here if you need it. :-) Best of luck!

Oh Deb, I'm sorry. What Dr. are you seeing anyways? After Dr. Dunnican passed I got put to Dr. Bonneville and I don't have the same "connection" with him as I did with Dr. Dunnican.

Anyways.... Sorry to hear about all your post break up woes. Hang in there hon. Only way to go is up, right?
