x-post: What I did on my summer vacation

Last Saturday my family got home from a really wonderful vacation at Lake Almanor in Northern California.  I credit my sleeve with making most of the activities below not only possible but downright amazing. Wishing everyone amazing success on your weight loss journies.


Cruise across lake to dinner, probably one of my top five funnest evenings! On the way back, we stopped the boat in the middle of the lake, watched the full moon come up and had us a dance party!!

 
 


 
Water skiied for the first time in 30-odd years

 
Did a 45-mile bike ride around Lake Almanor.

 
Wakeboarded...fun, but I prefer skiing.

 
Rode a jet-ski with two of my college roomates.

Sounds like a great time. Glad you were able to do so many things. I can't wait until the time I can take on those adventures!

It sounds like you had a great time. I haven't had surgery yet--it is the 29th and I can't wait to get this weight off so I can take my life back and do some of the things I used to love to do!
