I just wanted to say thanks everyone for all the suggestions! My feet do hurt really, terribly bad and I'm sure that it is the pressure from all this extra weight. Last week I bought a pair of New Balance tennis shoes(supposed to great) and it feels like I'm walking on bricks. So, I bought some gel insoles to go in them. I can't wear the insoles because they add too much heigth(sp? I'm tired) to the inside of the shoe, thus causing tightness across the top of my foot. Can anyone give me a suggestion on a shoe to get? Is that allowed here? Thanks, Heather PS I don't know how you stand the saran wrap, but I'll sure try the lotion!

HI , I am sorry your feet hurt and are cracking mine were too. I now use Kerasal AL , daily foot cream. about 5 bucks from the drugstore. Its awesome, no more cracks and even the dry calouses have gone away. As far as your insoles.. take out the built in insole then put yours in there. see if that helps if not. go to a foot dr and get some orthodics (sp?) I dont go anywhere without them any more. good luck.

Hi heather, I use the Avon cracked heel reief cream and use a file a few times a week when I shower. My kids and boyfriend noticed the difference with in a week. My feet are so smooth, I love it. Good Luck.

ok. i have heels that crack and bleed at the first sign of cold weather unless i do this and i guarantee it will work. If you have calousing, remove it. the easiest way is a simple "dremel" tool on a low speed. its effortless and does a great job. then, before you go to bed, put a liberal amount of simple vasceline or generic petroleum jelly on your feet and put on fairly heavy sox. Your feet will heal almost immediately and will not crack again unless you stop doing it. You feel feel so nice after soaking up all that moisture, why would you want to stop and also your piggys are warm in the winter with sox on while sleeping. Hope it helps. Sometimes my feet hurt so bad when walking becasue the pressure on my heels would open the cuts wide like a razor cut! Candy
