 Good Morning Everyone,

I didn't sleep very well last night.   I've had alot on my mind.   But even though I didn't get the sleep that I usually get and am not as rested as I would like to be I am still so very grateful that I woke up this AM....that I have my health...which is one reason I had my WLS.    I am grateful for every aspect of my life whether it is pleasant or not so pleasant because during those unpleasant times is when I am learning life's lessons.  I thank God everyday for my life and all the people and things that he has blessed me with.    Trust me...my life has been far less than perfect  and it will never be perfect but I am a very blessed woman.    I am grateful for the trials and the good times in my life.   If I've learned one thing in my life...it is to be grateful for all that I have because it could all be taken from me in the blink of a eye.     Not sure what caused me to write this today but I guess someone needed to read this.    Be grateful please for everything that you have.   Life offers us no guarantees nor has it ever.    Have a blessed and peaceful day.   PLEASE share with us if you will what you are grateful for today.

Hugs and blessings ~~~ Vivian

I truly agree. I am grateful for my wonderful husband and my children. I have had nothing but bad complications with my RNY and have been through hell and back and again in the hospital. But my husband has taken care of me for the last 5 years and it must be so tiring for him. And he has never left nor complained about anything he has had to do for me. When you take your vows in sickness and in health you never really think that there will be a "sickness" to worry about but he has rolled with it and I guess that is what true love is and I am very grateful for him and love him very very much.

You are a truly blessed woman.    I also take my marriage vows seriously.    Hope your health improves soon.   I'll keep you in my prayers.
