Hi. The worst part for me is the extra skin. I know it's a vanity issue, especially when so many of my health concerns have resolved (high blood pressure, diabetes problems, etc. I should be glad, but I find it depressing to have so much extra skin. As I told my husband, I don't mind that I am older, but I mind that I look so much older.
I think it was the occasional stalls and the feeling that I might not ever lose another pound. I didn't end up losing all the weight I wanted to, but I'm still working on it, and it's still coming off little by little. The extra skin is a bit gross, but I think the occasional panic was the worst.

I was in a lot of pain the first week after surgery to the point I couldn't sit up or stand up with out assistance that was difficult for me because I am so independent I didn't like having to ask someone to help. After that it was annoying but also fun having to shop for new smaller clothes. My bank account didn't like it. I'm pretty sure once I get to the point of sagging skin I'm going to have to get it fixed as that is just not okay with me. With all that being said I'd do it again tomorrow.
