Really??? That's interesting. That tells you how horrible my first surgeon was. I'll have to ask my new surgeon about that. Now that I had to have s gastrectomy I wonder if the same rules apply.
The American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery says they do.  Also, the Vitafusion gummy multivitamins are missing a BUNCH of vitamins and minerals you need.

Unfortunately there are a lot of vitamins that I can not digest cause I'm missing the stomach and the first part of the intestine that does the absorption. So I have to do IV therapy for most of my vitamins anyway. So my doctor told me I could take these it was no problem. But I am very grateful for your advice. I love this site cause there is a lot if information and everyone is so eager to help.

Just so you're aware of all the things they are missing.  A lot of people see the words "adult gummy vitamin" on the label and assume it's a complete multivitamin, when it's not.  I think many vitamin companies are purposely misleading because they want to sell their product.

Most chewables do taste disgusting! As for the anxiety thing---my niece got choked on something when she was just small, and she had such anxiety about swallowing the kid nearly starved to death. It was REALLY hard for her to get over that, but eventually she did.

You're having dumping with a Sleeve??? That's...most unusual. Why do you think it's happening?

I love them, kinda orangey, I could eat them as a treat, so I eat them after my snack.

Yes, Celebrate is VERY generous.  Especially if you go to any of the get-togethers with OH, OAC, or WLSFA.  Even more so towards the ends of the events.

I believe Calcet creamy bites are from Celebrate.  I like the lemon ones.  I have a few chocolate ones but I haven't tasted them yet.

Celebrate also has an interesting multivitamin product with calcium that you dump into water and drink.  It's called ENS.  That might actually be a better approach.  They also have an iron with vitamin C, which helps in the absorption process and it both tastes pretty decent and isn't tough on the tummy.

I like ENS a lot, although it's pricy.

The Celebrate iron doesn't actually have enough C to help with the absorption of iron, though.  You need 200 mg C for every 30 mg elemental iron.  Their 18 mg chewable iron only has 36 mg C, their 30 mg iron only has 60 mg C and their 60 mg iron onlly has 60 mg C.   Not enough C to make a difference.
