What can i expect to lose the first 6 months post RNY?

I'm 5'8 and my weight after surgery fluid gain was 288 the day after surgery.  I am down to 242 and am only 9.5 weeks out.  We are all different and unique, and only time will tell.  Every day will be a new and wonderful adventure!  Good luck!

Thank you so much all. Hopefully me being hypothyroid won't slow things anymore than it has to.. cannot wait to get back to exercising, etc after surgery =)

And as far as the spirometer i am good with this and follow whatever the doctors/nurses tell me too sometimes more than normal. I had to use this with 2 c-sections, and my gallbladder removal last May.
