Some patients may experience these issues when they remove caffeine from their diet.  It's far better to expereince these headaches per op, and to be off of caffeine prior to surgery. As a post op, caffeine withdrawl will likely cause more severe headaches.  You may have anxiety and be stressed trying to attain a certain wt loss prior to surgery, or you may "miss" the foods that caused you to gain wt.  I know that when I have stressful days, my normal daily headaches become more intense.  DAVE

You may also be experiencing them because you aren't eating carbs. It happened to me also, but it got better :)

Totally normal.  You're detoxing off caffeine and carbs.  You'll feel better in a few days.  Drink lots of water.

You are probably detoxing a bit from sugar and caffeine.

I found that planning early bedtimes, warm bath and hot tea in the evenings helped me get through the first few days when it was the worst.

Typically by 3 or 4 days of the plan, you will feel better.

I'm a little over 2 weeks post-op and I'm having headaches...I think I might be a little dehydrated.  My advice is to drink LOTS of water.
