not bad in a pinch. the sodium is too high for me to eat on a regular basis, but good to keep in the freezer when cooking isn't an option. thanks for the review.

Yes - I bought like 16 of them.  You'll note:  15 are in the freezer still.

It's about time Atkins added frozen dinners.  In a pinch or if I just don't feel like cooking this will be a great alternative.

Thanks, Sandra

I have to admit that I just don't get it. How can this be healthy  for anyone let alone for some that has had WLS? Total calories look OK if in Maintenance (I am ). Isn't 23 grams of fat way over what we should be eating? The sodium is so high too. I understand that the carbs are low BUT if I were reading this label I would not buy the product.

What am I missing?

Just trying to understand:)

At 8 years post RNY I still malabsorb fat and so don't ever worry about the fat content of a food (although I don't eat fried food per se).    I also don't count the sodium content of anything so have no idea why this wouldn't be a reasonable meal on an occasional basis!   I'm a fairly clean eater and so would only eat this on a rare occasion ...

I have diabetes so I DO watch the carbs (although all carbs are not equal) in what I eat and as an RNYer I do like my food choices to have a reasonable protein level too.

I certainly wouldn't advocate anyone living on ready meals but for me, an occasional meal like this is really not a problem in my overall healthy lifestyle.
