I am now able to have soup the paperwork says not chunks veg or meat no creme. Can I have tomatoe soup. Anyone suggest any soups from the supermarket??? Someone in my family suggested V8 soup any opinions that would really help. Also they said to buy ff greek yougut plain and add fruit. Now they say the fruit should not be syrup just its own juices. Where in the supermarket would I find this???

You can find canned fruit in the canned goods section, next to canned veggies.  You can find frozen fruit in the freezer section, near the frozen juices.  Usually close to the breakfast foods.

YOu'd find it in the fresh or frozen food section.  If you get frozen berries, you'll get juice as they thaw, or just mash them a little.  I'm surprised, though, that they will allow fruit chunks and not meat or veg chunks.  Perhaps some SF jam with the yogurt may be a better idea, instead.

I'm on post op day seven. I'm on my second week of full liquids. I have five 2 oz meals a day (light Greek yogurt, tomato soup, cream of chicken soup, sf pudding, stage one baby food peaches or pears, V-8 juice) I don't drink 15 minutes before or 30 min after my meals. I drink every 15 (30-60cc) of crystal light, decaf tea, water. Also I have one 8 oz. protein shake I sip off of all day in 30 cc increments. Plus take all my liquid vitamins. It's going well. I've had no pain or nausea.

I am at that same place. My surgery date was 2/5/2013. I spoke to my nutritionist my Doctor's today and I was told as long as the soup slides off the spoon, it's OK. Tomato is, but has a lot of acid in it. Pea soup is OK, and so is lentil, they just need to be pureed. Thee Yoplit 100 greek yougurt is really good.
