Is this normal - pre-surgery food coma?

My pre-op diet starts Feb 15th and I had my last fling on Saturday during the blizzard.  I had friends over and I made a beef roast and we had wine and watched the snow fall.  I already know what the diet entails so I started it on Monday.  I don't think one last fling before the pre-op diet is going to hurt you, just don't go overboard.  Congrats on all the weight you have lost on your own that is awesome!  Are you having your surgery at CMC in Manchester?  I'm sure they are going to make us walk after surgery so I may see you walking in the halls as my surgery is a day before yours, same doc.

Sooo exciting to see someone with same the same surgeon/same hospital/ and surgery the day before mine imagine that lol. Are you excited?? I am!!! Connie Campbell is amazing!!!
