10 days out stomach pain

Okay so I am 10 days post opt and i am experiencing sharp pain that comes from nowhere.  Stomach aches but they dont come after I ate something so I cant pinpoint whyI am getting all these odd feelings.  Took a two hour nap woke up with the worst stomach ache

Is it sharp pains or a constant ache? Near any incisions? You had a lot done to you so it could be a number of things. I would probably call your surgeon to be on the safe side since you're going into the weekend. Did your surgeon give you pain medication?

Not really coming from the incisions, not that I dont feel that incision on my left side. It just seems to come out of nowhere I find it alot when I am laying on my side in bed.  I will contact the surgeon and let him know thanks

I couldn't lay on my side for a few weeks because of the internal stitches.  It fell like something pulling on the inside.  Are you able to pass gas?  If not, then call your surgeon because that is a problem - ie possible leak.  Don't want to scare you but it it's that painful, don't wait to call.

Hi Michaela67, I am 9 days post op.

If they cut through nerves it could be them firing off attempting to reconnect. Just a thought. Let us know what your Doc says.

I'm 10 days today I would be dying in sharp pains if I even try to lean on my side no way can I lay on my side I think you will be fine never hurts to call the doctor ,I havr sharp pains all the time on the left side still

im just 3 weeks post-op can lay some what on my left side only ,,right side still not painfree ,,i slept alot first 2 weeks in my lazy boy ,,was way more comfortable ,,hang in there
